DISSERTATION

Various research problems are analysed as part of the dissertation which are of mutual benefit to the student and the agency. Several agencies requiring research analysis seek us desiring quality output. Students learn Social Work Research as a method while doing Dissertaion.  The issues and problems studies are analysed using the latest statistical methods (SPSS) to provide accurate findings which help the agency and society at large.  Dissertations submitted by students are evaluated by Internal Examiners consistently throughout the Second year. At the end of Semester IV it is evaluated by an external examiner appointed by the Osmania University during the viva-voce examination.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATIONS

Theory

Examinations for theory papers are conducted by the Osmania University at the end of each Semester. 

Field Work

Field work Assessment is done at two levels : 

Internal Assessment

Internal Field Work Assessment is a continuous Process. Students are assessed on the basis of their attendance in field work, submission of field work records and attendance in the field work supervisory conferences.  At the end of each term an Internal Evaluation is conducted during which students are awarded internal marks.  

External Assessment :

External Assessment is conducted by an External Examiner appointed by the Osmania University at the end of every Term. External Marks are awarded during the viva-voce examination conducted. 

Dissertation :

External Evaluation is conducted for Dissertation at the end of the fourth Semester along with the Field Work Viva-Voce.
