Research, as the very name of the college
stands for, is a very significant activity
of the college.

Dr.
D. K. Lal Das |
"Our Research Director has written books" on Social Work
Research, which is a path-breaking effort.
Drawing from his rich source of research
experience, teachers too are active in research
and publication with several papers published
in peer reviewed journals. We proudly state
that the contribution of Dr. D. K. Lal DAs
in intervention research (single subject
& group design) has inspired faculty
members, Ph.D. Scholars and MSW and BSW
students alike to take up intervention research.
BSW
students taking up a research study, as
part of their fieldwork is a noteworthy
feature. MSW students take up dissertations
on various social work related issues. The
college is a recognised centre for Ph.D.
with three faculty members supervising 18
part time doctoral candidates. Three Ph.Ds
have been awarded in the recent past. The
project proposals are carefully screened
by this research committee.
Research linkages are established with the
Central Government, State Government and
NGO's. Research projects are sponsored by
these agencies and carried out by the college.
Linkages with International Organization
like AUSAID(Australia Aid) and NAP(Netherlands
Assisted Projects) are also established.
Training linkages are established with State
Social Welfare Board, NGO's, APSACS(Andhra
Pradesh State Aids Control Society), British
council, Pollution Control Board and other
counselling centres.
We look forward to
collaborations on different Research Projects,
Consultancy & Training. Contact
here for more details or fill up the
