Career Prospects & Placements

Students completing Social Work Courses are placed in various fields of Social Work. They are designated as Counselors and Social Workers in family Counseling Centers, Adoption Centers, Schools, Street Children Projects, Drug De-addiction Centers, Govt and Corporate Hospitals; Community Organisers and Project Officers in Rural & Urban Community Development Projects of Government and NGO’s such as water shed management; GM-HR, AGM, Personnel Officers, HR Executives and Labour Welfare Officers in Industry.

National and International Organisations also recruit our students both in India and Abroad. Some of the students who have passed out have initiated their own NGO’s which have found place as Professional Organisations and are working on several social issues confronting society today.

Students are also eligible to appear for all the competitive exams like CDPO, DSC, TSPSC, UPSC and other examinations of State and Central governments.
